BPFST Unhas Achieves Significant Surge in Stakeholder Satisfaction for 2025
The Food Science and Technology (FST) Study Program at Hasanuddin University continues to demonstrate its commitment to excellence, as evidenced by the recently released Stakeholder Satisfaction Survey results for the 2024-2025 period. The data reveals a consistent upward trend in satisfaction across all primary sectors, including students, lecturers, and academic staff.
Surpassing Academic and Non-Academic Targets
A highlight of the report is the remarkable turnaround in student satisfaction. While the initial periods of 2024 saw scores trailing slightly behind the university’s ambitious targets, the 2025-1 period marked a major milestone: Academic Satisfaction: Jumped to 87.54%, officially surpassing the 87.0% target. Non-Academic Satisfaction: Reached 87.43%, also exceeding the set target.
This growth reflects the department’s continuous efforts to refine curriculum delivery, laboratory facilities, and student support services.
Lecturer and Staff Excellence
The survey also highlights a surge in morale and satisfaction among the educators and support teams who form the backbone of the program:
Lecturer Satisfaction: After steady growth through 2024, lecturer satisfaction reached 87.48% in early 2025, outperforming the university target.
Academic Staff Satisfaction: This sector saw the most dramatic increase, soaring to an impressive 90.09% in the 2025-1 measurement.
A Commitment to Continuous Improvement
“These figures are more than just numbers; they represent the collective voice of our community,” said the Department Head. “Seeing our CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores climb above our targets—especially in academic staff satisfaction—validates our strategic initiatives to create a more supportive and efficient environment for everyone.”
The downward adjustment of the “Unhas Target” from 87.5% in 2024 to 87.0% in 2025 suggests a more calibrated approach to institutional goals, which FST has met and exceeded with flying colors.
Moving forward, FST Unhas remains dedicated to maintaining these high standards, ensuring that the Food Science and Technology program remains a premier destination for students and a fulfilling workplace for professionals.
