Integrated Field Practice of Hasanuddin University Agricultural Technology Students at PTPN I and PT. Sinergi Gula Nusantara (PT.SGN), PG Camming Unit, Bone Regency
Students of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Hasanuddin University carried out an Integrated Field Practice on Sugar Production Systems at PTPN I and PT. Sinergi Gula Nusantara (SGN) PG Camming Unit, Bone Regency. Through this experiential learning, students from Food Science and Technology (ITP), Agroindustrial Technology (TIN), and Agricultural Engineering (TP) explored the full process — from on-farm activities like land preparation, cultivation, irrigation, and harvesting, to off-farm sugar processing at the factory. After completing the field activities, the group, accompanied by lecturers and staff, visited the Ministry of Agriculture’s residence in Bakungnge Village, Ponre District.
